For promotion to Deputy Director, an applicant must have been promoted to Assistant Director I in or before 2022. For Assistant Director I, the applicant must have been promoted to Assistant Director II in or before 2022.
Similarly, applicants for Assistant Director II must have been promoted to Principal Superintendent in or before 2022. Those applying for Principal Superintendent must have been promoted to Senior Superintendent I in or before 2022. In each case, the applicant should have remained continuously at post since the previous promotion, except during periods of approved leave of absence.
