GES Establishes Staff Helplines Across All Regions

The Ghana Education Service has introduced staff helplines across all regions. The initiative takes effect immediately nationwide. GES says the helplines will improve communication with staff. The Service also expects quicker responses to staff concerns. Teachers often face delays when seeking official guidance. The new system aims to address this problem.
According to GES, the helplines will support teachers professionally. They will also address administrative concerns raised by staff. Teachers can now report issues through their regional helpline numbers. GES believes this will improve staff support across the country. Better communication may also strengthen coordination within the Service. Management hopes the initiative will resolve concerns more quickly.
The announcement was made in an official letter. The letter was dated 11 March 2026. GES headquarters addressed the letter to Regional Directors nationwide. The directors were instructed to circulate the information widely. Staff must receive the helpline numbers as soon as possible. GES believes this will ensure the system becomes effective quickly.
Regional Directors have also received additional responsibilities. They must monitor the operation of the helplines carefully. They are expected to gather feedback from staff regularly. The feedback should be submitted periodically to headquarters. GES says the information will help improve the initiative. Continuous monitoring will also help address challenges early.
Management believes the initiative will strengthen staff engagement nationwide. Teachers will now have clearer channels for seeking assistance. The Service expects better communication between staff and management. This may also improve coordination across regional offices. GES says stronger communication can improve service delivery. It may also help resolve staff concerns faster.
